JD Traylor
JD and Cindy have had the privilege of ministering at Hanover Baptist since 1982. JD comes from a law enforcement background, and is a graduate of Ball State University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Cindy has taught long-term at Southwestern Elementary, and plays the piano for the worship team at HBC, as well as being very involved in Women’s ministries. JD is also the police chaplain for the Madison and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s department.
Cindy and JD are the parents of five adult children: Charity Freeman, Heather Foy, Kim Crawford, Matt Traylor, and Michael Traylor. From those children and their mates, there are 17 precious grandchildren (and now grandchildren!).
Cindy and JD consider it a privilege and honor to serve in a loving congregation, and are so grateful for the encouragement and support they have and continue to receive from a warm and caring church family.

Kinzer Havill
Kinzer serves as Associate Pastor at HBC, overseeing youth, college, and young adult ministries. He earned his M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2021 and holds a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Oakland City University. Kinzer and his wife, Charity, have three children and are deeply invested in the Hanover and Madison community. Charity serves as a Physician Assistant at Britt Family Medicine in Madison.
Kinzer also serves as the local Director for LifeWise Academy, leading Bible education for middle school students at Southwestern. A former college basketball player, he has seen the Lord use sports ministry to impact many lives. In 2019, he helped establish a thriving Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle at Southwestern Middle and High School and currently serves as an assistant varsity basketball coach.
Kinzer loves the Scriptures and longs to help people see the beauty of Christ in the Gospel. He and Charity are grateful to call Hanover home and pray many would come to know and treasure Christ. “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me” (Colossians 1:28–29).

PAUL BREWSTER
Dr. Paul Brewster also serves as an associate pastor on staff, bringing a wealth of biblical insight and pastoral wisdom to our team. Dr. Brewster holds a PhD in theological studies and is the author of the book, "Andrew Fuller: Model Pastor-Theologian." Paul teaches our middle-adult Sunday School class and preaches the Word boldly and faithfully. Paul is married to Debbie and they love being grandparents!

JAY CRAWFORD
Jay serves as Worship Leader at HBC with a deep love for Christ, His Word, and His church. Jay & Kim have three daughters and are intimately invested in the local Hanover community. Jay leads with humility and steadiness. He desires to help the congregation sing the truths of the Gospel with joy, reverence, and wholehearted faith. Through biblically rich songs, both Jay & Kim encourage the church to lift their eyes to the beauty and sufficiency of Jesus Christ.
With a servant’s heart and a passion for congregational worship, Jay helps lead the church in singing that is shaped by Scripture and centered on the Gospel. His desire is that the Word of Christ would dwell richly among God’s people as they sing together with thankfulness to the Lord: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God” (Colossians 3:16).

Angie Lunsford
Angie has faithfully served the children and families of HBC for well over a decade with a deep love for Christ, a tender heart for children, and a steadfast commitment to the truth of God’s Word. She and her husband, Mike, have two children, Riley and Bailee.
Angie has a gift for helping children not only learn the Scriptures, but delight in them. Her desire is to see young hearts firmly rooted in Christ from an early age, growing to love the Lord, treasure His Word, and joyfully use the gifts He has given them for His glory. With kindness, wisdom, and genuine care, Angie serves families faithfully, praying that the children entrusted to HBC would one day stand strong as men and women who know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.

Joyce Terrell
Joyce has been a faithful part of HBC since 1983, when she came to know Jesus Christ as Savior. Since joining the church staff in 2013, she has served quietly and faithfully behind the scenes, helping keep the daily life and ministry of the church running smoothly. Over the years, Joyce has served in many areas of ministry with humility, kindness, and a steady love for the people of HBC.
Joyce and her husband, Jimmy, are blessed with a daughter and grandson. Her servant-hearted care, joyful spirit, and long-standing faithfulness have been a gift to the church family for many years.
