In 2023, Builders for Christ chose little Hanover, Indiana as the site of their national church build project, something that remains a tremendous testimony of God’s grace to our church family. HBC has partnered with Builders for Christ for decades. In 1995, Builders for Christ helped construct a previous building for our church, and over the years many from HBC have traveled across the country to serve alongside them in building churches for other congregations.

After other projects unexpectedly fell through, the Lord graciously opened the door for HBC to become the 2023 build site at just the right time. Hundreds of volunteers from across the nation came to serve alongside our own church members, giving sacrificially of their time, skills, and labor to help build a new home for Gospel ministry. The amount of labor and financial burden lifted through Builders for Christ was an extraordinary gift of God’s provision and kindness. Many within our own church family also worked tirelessly throughout the project, serving side-by-side in a beautiful picture of Christian unity and joyful sacrifice.
